Open Door Mission - Candace Gregory

Candace Gregory serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Open Door Mission. She joined the Open Door Mission staff in 1995.

Born and raised in New Brunswick, Canada, she is a graduate of Lower Cloverdale Christian Academy, Bethany Bible College, New Brunswick Community College, and Grace University. In February, 2001, she was recognized by the Nebraska Commission on Housing and Homelessness for her outstanding efforts in the area of Homeless Services and Continuum of Care for the Non-Profit Sector. Candace is a devoted wife and mother of three young children

With 13 years of experience in children's ministries, Candace genuinely speaks and sings from her heart. She passionately presents the facts about families who are among the fastest growing population of people who are homeless. She is dedicated to implementing prevention programs in the community that can end the cycle of homelessness and poverty in families.

Candace is an experienced and energetic speaker. She enjoys sharing with children's and adult groups, clubs and organizations.

Open Door Mission is a Gospel Rescue Mission founded in 1954. Each day, Open Door Mission ministries provides 320 men, women, and children with safe shelter beds, serves nearly 1,500 hot nutritious meals, and provides preventive measures to more than 250 families living in poverty. to meet the basic physical needs of the hungry and homeless, the Open Door Mission’s day facility services provide free transportation from the downtown area to Open Door Mission and Lydia House. Open Door Mission offers life-changing programs for those recovering from life-altering addictions and abuse to break the cycle of homelessness and poverty.
