Our Christmas Program is called Project Santa. There are two parts to this program. The first part details how to sign up for the program, and the second part gives details on how to shop for toys for the children you signed up.
To sign up for Project Santa: Beginning December 1st and going through December 21st, community members can come to the Timberlake Outreach Center or Council Bluffs Outreach Center (on the days they are open) and sign up their children aged newborn to 12 years old to receive new toys for Christmas. This should be done during your once a month shopping time. Please note each child can only be signed up ONCE for this program.
To sign your children up for Christmas gifts, we ask that you:
-Bring your ID
-Bring a current piece of mail
-Bring Social Security cards for each child (ages newborn to 12 years old) that you want to sign up to receive gifts
-Bring a document verifying the children’s ages (such as a birth certificate or Medicaid card)
To Shop for Toys: After you sign up with us, you will be given a confirmation sheet with an appointment day and time to come and shop for toys for the children that you signed up. You will need to bring that confirmation sheet with you when you come to shop for toys.
The Toy N Joy shop is located on our main campus by the airport in Omaha and will be open from 10am – 6pm on December 17th, 18th, 19th, 20th & 21st. Children CANNOT be present at the Toy N Joy shop.
