Martin Luther King Jr. Day
Americans will once again honor the memory and message of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. through a national Day of Service, led by the Corporation for National and Community Service, on January 20, 2025.
Dr. King once said, “Life’s most urgent and persistent question is: what are you doing for others?” He challenged us to build a more perfect union and taught us that everyone has a role to play in making America what it ought to be. We need citizens to help renew our nation through service – on the King Holiday, and throughout the year.
So make this a day ON, not a day off!
Join us Monday, January 20th to volunteer at Open Door Mission on this national Day of Service. Please be flexible to help complete high-impact projects that will benefit our neighbors experiencing homelessness and poverty. Volunteer opportunities are available for 9am-11am, 12pm-2pm, and 3pm-5pm.
You will need to create a VOMO account to sign up for this opportunity, if you have not yet. If you already have a VOMO account, click the ‘Sign Up’ button to reserve your volunteer spot for Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
