Our Impact
Open Door Mission is a Gospel Rescue Mission founded in 1954 committed to breaking the cycle of homelessness and poverty. Each day, Open Door Missions’ campus offers 917 safe, shelter beds to people experiencing homelessness, serves over 5,366 nutritious meals to feed the hungry, and provides homeless preventive resources to more than 1,270 people living in poverty to empower them to remain in their own homes.
In 2025, Open Door Mission made an impact by:
- Provided 199,695 nights of safe shelter.
- Served 1.5 million+ nutritious meals to feed the hungry.
- Empowered 21,734 individuals to remain in their own homes and prevent homelessness.
- Celebrated 73 graduates from life-changing programs.
- Helped 311 individuals achieve stable housing.
- Cared for patients during 11,513 clinic visits in the Free Health & Wellness Clinic.
- Diverted 419 patients from the ER.
- Assisted 605 individuals in finding stable housing.
